Inspired by his time living in a 26-foot Airstream while traveling the American West, Jon realized that others needed a way to escape, recharge, and unplug in nature. In the summer of 2015, Jon and his college friend Pete Davis launched what was initially known as Getaway. The first cabin, Ovida, opened in southern New Hampshire outside Boston, quickly gaining popularity. By April 2016, with significant press coverage and investor support, Postcard Cabins expanded to a second location in New York. Growing demand led to further expansion, and today, Postcard Cabins operates near major cities across the United States. The custom-built tiny cabins, ranging from 140 to 200 square feet, are designed to integrate natural elements like wood, metal, and glass.
