The Camp at Gash Creek

Victor, USA - map
Sleeps up to 6 - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

Escape to the serene wilderness of Montana and experience the rugged beauty of the great outdoors while still enjoying the comforts of luxury tents at Gash Creek Camp. Located down a dirt road, nestled in the mountains, the camp offers a magical retreat where you can wake up to the sound of birds singing and the sun streaming through the windows. Savor a cup of coffee made with the French press on the deck while taking in the breathtaking views before embarking on your adventures in the mountains.

The camp is a labor of love, built slowly over time by the owners. Currently, it has two tents, each uniquely furnished with curated vintage items collected over the years. The first tent features a queen bed, while the second is a bunk tent that sleeps four and is reminiscent of old-school summer camps with its double bunks. Both tents have tiny woodstoves that provide warmth during the chilly spring and fall nights. A newly remodeled bathhouse, located just a short walk up the path, features a shower, toilet, washer, and dryer. The kitchen section of the bathhouse boasts a custom camp kitchen with a 2-burner stove top, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and open shelves – everything you need to whip up delicious meals while camping.

The large outdoor eating area is perfect for alfresco dining, featuring a picnic table, gas grill, and a stunning gas fire pit surrounded by lounge chairs, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The owners are always available by text and have someone nearby who can stop by in case of emergencies. While there are neighbors around the camp, access to the property is through a locked gate. The camp has nine acres of land, and the mountain behind it is state forest land that is open for exploration.

If you're looking to unplug and unwind, Gash Creek Camp is the perfect place for you. The goal for this space is to eliminate distractions, which is why there is no wifi, but there is some cell service depending on your carrier. Chopping your own wood and keeping the woodstoves burning might seem like a chore, but it's all part of the fun and adds to the rustic charm of the camp. The tents are approximately 100 feet apart, providing ample privacy while still being close enough to enjoy the communal areas. At Gash Creek Camp, you'll find the perfect balance of comfort and adventure, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
