With high-end stainless steel appliances, sleek modern cabinetry, and tons of counter space, this is a kitchen that will delight any home chef.

And, of course, there's the industrial-chic design. This pad has a zen and cosy vibe that we appreciate, with an abundance of plants, lots of natural wood and a soothing colour palette. The 120-year old original wooden beams hark back to the loft's former days as a button factory, giving the space a touch of history and character. The cushy leather couch is the perfect antidote to an afternoon spent wandering around the city. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more relaxing spot in all of FiDi.

The neighbourhood is also interesting and unexpected. This is a section of FiDi that is truly residential and surprisingly private, where the buildings aren't quite as tall as the skyscrapers nearby. You'll get a real sense of old Manhattan wandering down the cobblestone streets. And with the restaurants and bars along South Street Seaport just a few minute's walk away, you'll have plenty to do on your doorstep.

It's a bit of a hike to the nearest subway station, about eight minutes on foot, but we think it's worth it as this loft is something special. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this FiDi loft is the perfect place to call home during your stay in the Big Apple.
